Really wish Abby came in with no context and did the deed. Isn’t the whole point of the first half of the game is that we are fully behind Elle on her mission for revenge bc we think Abby is a purely evil character and don’t know her original motive. Feel like they may completely switch up the narrative structure now
It’s funny because one of the biggest critiques people had for the narrative of the game was the disjointed and non-linear narrative lol.

Yeah maybe I’m in the minority but I really liked it and thought it helped bring home the theme

Nah I agree with you 100%

Idk how they can pull it off now. Maybe they just abandon it and cut between their POVs
GQ’s review of the season take on the next episode.
Without crossing too many red spoiler lines, it is early in the season that Jackson finds itself under threat. What follows is an episode long extended set-piece in which the town is assaulted by the horde — towering bloaters, runners, clickers, you name it — evoking the biggest, most visceral and goriest battles from the peak of HBO's flagship fantasy series. Explosive barrels, flamethrowers, clicker-hungry dogs and enough ammunition to arm a small state are deployed in defence of the settlement; it's the sort of bicep-flexing episode you watch and think, "Ah, so this is where half of the budget went". Not that it's all about the flashy effects and violence. The episode has clear emotional stakes, and you care about the outcomes for almost all involved — even the peripheral characters we might've only momentarily glimpsed in prior scenes.
The actors across the ensemble put in series-best work, with masterful direction from Succession's Mark Mylod, who deftly weaves together the episode's most emotional and action-heavy beats. Altogether, it's the certain Emmy play — sure to go down as a TV all-timer, and waxed poetic about in the same way as season one standout "Long, Long Time".
Isabela Merced hard, hard, hard carry

All of them were good
With this HBO money you'd think the zombie make up would be better
S*** looking like a straight to DVD 2007 zombie joint party city
The Last of Us does not have zombies so not sure what you are referring to.
Dina's actress was so good. Great casting. I don't know, man. The hate Ellie's actress is getting is crazy. Like millions of impressions of hate against her cause of how she looks. The comedy bits aren't great I agree with that though.
I've been pretty content with how the show is going. This season has a lot of great moments from the game that I will enjoy.
bruh
Bro been in here the past week posting 1 frame weird screenshots of Bella Ramsey. Dudes obsessed with her
