Just thought of this loophole

If the reason for immunity was that the umbilical cord gets cut seconds after the mother gets infected why wouldn’t FEDRA/Marlene just infect more pregnant woman while they’re giving birth/cut the umbilical cord and have a whole batch of immune kids. She was willing to sacrifice Ellie I’m sure she would be willing to sacrifice random pregnant women
