Like they spent most of the season saying "he is 54 that much action would look silly" only to go all in this episode
Is this not obvious to you? They explained it in the podcast. It was to instill a fear of losing her. He doesn’t want to feel that feeling again and experience losing her like he does Sarah. After he talked through those panic attacks with Tommy, and vocalized them (therapy matters!!) he did what it takes in his own hands to save Ellie. Episode 8 ending and 9 ending. He has the fear of losing her and will do what he must to not let that happen

It's more than 10 min. I just feel like every major point of the episode was done within 10 min.
It may not have to be 45 min extra, but they definitely should've let everything cook a little longer

Abbey gameplay was a lot better than Ellie gameplay, and as much as I really wanted to not like abbey she ended up being a more likeable character in the game
I think it would’ve worked better with alternating by day, but obviously they wanted it to be a shock that you actually play as abbey
