It felt too short. They gave the Bill episode an hr and 19 mins when that could’ve been for this finale.
The only other thing I think they would’ve done is showed Joel kill them more slowly and maybe have them walk and talk a bit more before the firefly soldiers get them though. Maybe since I played the game it didn’t feel rushed but I liked it tbh.

nah they got to account of Bella or its gonna look silly
female brock
I get the shock value of non linear but I really think Joel deserved to die so his tragic death didn't propel me through s\*\*\* as Ellie lol. Abby plot dealt with more than just getting her lick back so was easier to play in larger portions
to me his death was just more shocking than it was emotional in the game. That’s why I say this might do more for me when that time comes. I think Joel legitimately deserves comeuppance and feels like more of a neutral rather than a protagonist. But I can’t lie and pretend like the knowledge of what TLOU 2 is trying to show about these characters doesn’t affect my perception. Joel is supposed to be a conflicted, anti-hero, and we’re not supposed to know just how conflicted he is at that very moment, but we will.
