It’s quite obvious the reason why as I’m watching. whether you agree or disagree with this decision, it’s to give the infected “weight” and have them be actually scary.

Think of how they have used infected this entire series. Every single scene an infected was in, it has killed someone / a major character lol. They don’t want a walking dead situation where they become fodder.

I personally don’t mind that decision. But if you want a “zombie show” I can see how you would be mad over it
