If you tell people how they are allowed to think or express in a thread even people who aren’t hating that’s pathetic to me . Joking that I’m homophobic because I compare this episode to 3 because of the similar endings. I said I wanted a character to be more than executed that’s not hate or nitpicking that’s what I personally wanted I never said show needed or you should want anything . my opinion of the show has nothing to do with you . I’m not expressing to get under your skin or a reaction. Most of us aren’t. When you take everything as trolling , nitpicking or hating . Thread becomes dogshit on both sides .

But as I said I no longer care I defend y’all and the show and you still throw shade and complain that people feel differently then you about the show so just complain

I ask them to explain more because saying “ the show is full mid or trash “ is just bait . I want them to say why and what made them come to that conclusion . There is no sarcasm to that . Iglnd broke it down . Dwindlingsun broke it down . Me asking clarifying questions helps to understand them more . If someone says “ I cried 10/10 this will win awards “ I don’t really have any questions for them what would I ask them ?

I never made that joke and there’s been some horrible complaints.

Also people who b**** every week showing up every Sunday at 9 pm just to complain is definitely weird and makes thread way more toxic. What bothers me is that it’s the same people who hated every episode but still watch and post the most itt. Why continue?

Not really I know the show has solid performances , faithful to material , emotionally effective

To some it’s award bait . Nothing about this show winning awards is shocking

I have liked it overall I just find most of it to be kinda dull. There’s not enough tension in it for me. Can’t help but compare it to the game but I felt the first game had a better balance of drama and tension. I think it’s fine though and I still look forward to tuning in each week.

A lot of people watch highly popular things whether they like it or not to be in the loop

I can imagine a lot of gamers who might not genuinely be big tv show people are checking this out too

And I think as Rise said earlier I felt Joel and Ellie’s bond in the game was much stronger. I don’t get the same connection from them in the show.

I feel similar but glee show only people get to enjoy . Tension drama balance more breaking bad for me or better call Saul

It’s more different so I try to compare less because game is always original

A lot of people that are iffy on the show now will be all in once they experience that live action Abby and Owen zero-foreplay-straight-to-doggy s\*\*\*scene
