Villainess and The Raid 1 made it so I can't even watch most american action scenes. Its not even just the violence its so well choreographed .

Sucks that foreign action era came and went quick as hell.

Its odd cause even when I googled Villainess they are I think doing a american remake of the film that already exist. Like subtitles and not seeing american action stars is enough for them to want to remake the raid, villainess and many more even if the products right there are good and so well acted. People solely want to see the same stars in continuum

Same as a lot of these Anime live actions Akira, Gundam, One Piece this year. It becomes can they really adapt anime or video games without retaining the soul. Like even if they invest in visuals in any of these they always wind up some what feeling ashamed of the content and medium that they came from.
