lol everyone keeps telling me to watch it so that show is my focus after this. Last of Us show is just an odd hodge podge of what they found too game like versus what they wanted to make realistic with game lines mixed in. There is no way it would please everyone but it built an audience so

Station Eleven is a nice 7.5-8/10 show imo, packed more of an emotional punch for sure

my main issue with this show, and I haven't played the games, is that it just seems like such a cliche apocalypse/zombie movie

all of what's being explored and focused on has already been done well many times in tv/film so it's like what's the draw of this show really

still a good show and I like the cast, set design, and direction, but unless it shows me something new in the rest of the season it's a 7.5-8/10 for me dawg

Episode 4 and 5 just one long episode to me

I have been kind of been saying this middle portion of cliche like it was new in game but isn't new to tv and film. That is part of why I said it doesn't break the video game adaptation curse for me. That is why I have called it a "movie game" but at the same time I don't know what game elements people would allow to exist in the show and which they wouldn't I recommend playing the game its a different experience.

Many great shows have unrealistic elements though so I am lost on what you mean by this. We give it to them based on the world they are trying to create. Being real or not being real doesn't determine the quality of the story being told.
