what I am saying there isn't rough . I am saying there have been parts of each episode that I have found to be great others that didn't work for me. I think what the writers are doing for this show is focusing much more on showing how all these traumatic events have affected Ellie's psyche. So then when Joel gets killed...that will be the moment when she just completely snaps and let's the hate consume her

the fireflies definitely need some time but they are on the right path. I am trying to think at what part of story it will make sense to flashback to left behind without ruining momentum

After Jackson, so episode 7 most likely

well yeah I know but I mean at what point after Jackson where it won't feel too jarring to go backwards before final 2-3 episodes . Because after Left behind it will kind of be full speed to the end

I think they still need more time to let their relationship marinate so even episode 8 could work
