how the action was framed its actually slightly odd she didn't get bit again when she exits the car they don't really react to her I don't know if they are going along the tess thing of they think she is one of them so they don't react as fast or what

This was the most accurate episode to the game imo lol

The sewer, the sniper battle, leading to infected spawning all over them, the ending

I was amazed how well this whole episode was adapted

Bloater cgi and a few other moments were kind of weird but that’s still one of my favorite scenes

This episode tonally not action but tonally is most what I have wanted the show to be most of the season. I understand why they had to do that start up though. I think Kathleen broke her character down a little too hamfisted deconstruction but worked. Ellie Car scene intensified. Once she gets out of the car it got a lil overly messy but give it to them.

Why did some of the clickers look small? Like puppets or some s***

Also the little kid infected made me think of an apocalypse but it’s just all little Gollums running around. Would be sick.

Made me laugh the way she was tumbling around and s*** in the van

I am not saying I needed her crying or breaking down . the I am sorry was well done and can guess Joel buried them and let her sit in the room . It just felt like it was missing a slight moment after seeing so much traumatic things . I get that she keeps it moving

Kathleen monologue " kids die every day and when I complete my evil plan your kids will be dead . I am going to keep talking to give the bloater and infected time to come out "

What I mean is Ellie was always the more sentimental and mournful one (first with Tess, then Sam and Henry)

Joel was always the one to bury it and move on. Both situations now they have her hardened. I don't mind the change, just saying.

its really not a nitpick don't start this. I am saying she kind of monologued her entire character motivation a bit too much. The scene in her childhood room was great and beginning of episode. Her scene there she was kind of saying too much
