HaroldsChickenLol let them be happy . While also recognizing they won’t react well to saying it’s alright or most criticism . Much of the criticism is well written but some of it is silly so they exhausted . If gamers had their way Joel would stab someone to death then while covered in blood tell Ellie “ you remind me of my dead daughter “ then eat his birthday cake all in 10 minutes. Not realizing that what works in a game logic might not work as well in a tv show .

Lmfao even the game to me relies or helps based upon connection you have to material or projecting your pain on to it in a way . Thus to me the story works best if you are white and have a good relationship with dad or are at least heart felt to idea of over protective dad . Because it makes you think of your connection. Who knows though . The stakes can only exist so much when most of ga knows general track show is going . Does the general audience care if the world of the last of us is cured ? Do they believe there is a happy ending possible or care if these characters get or deserve one ? Who knows. Some have called last of us misery or trauma p*** . People connect with it so at end of day I’m happy to give it a watch while at the same time want games both in gaming and live action to be respected regardless of how realistic or dark their story is
