@ShintaroKago we misinterpret Neil’s humanize the enemy quote
in the podcast he’s talking about it with the guy who begged for his mother and not the new lady.
We were flaming Neil for nothing
Troy on the podcast: “one question I have is why is Perry following Kathleen, Perry seems like the more natural leader”
Craig: “that’s exactly what we want the viewer to question, why is he following her, why is she in charge. It means you are correctly confused / mystified. All I can say is keep watching the show. Normally people wouldn’t cast Melanie for this role, but there’s a reason for it”
I'm prolly late, but damn i didn't realize they would be dropping it days ahead. I thought it would drop a few hours before Super Bowl

People forget that a lot of the relationship building between Joel and Ellie happened while you were navigating empty streets/buildings and looting. Not exactly super easy to translate to a TV show
Anyone who thinks episode 3 is filler either doesn't understand the story or doesn't want to
Disagree with it not being easy to translate to film. There are tons of ways to build relationships that doesn't include dialogue while exploring. If the TV series can't do that, then that's on the writers for lacking the creativity to do so.

Condensed like hell the winter section? It lasts a total of 50 minutes in the game
People are overestimating how long tlou1 really was
We are already over half way through the game at this point in the show

"Greatly"...
It's coming along.
What was the consensus on the ep? I loved it. Def Bellas best ep so far.
It’s either the worst episode of any tv show ever and halo show better
Or a good episode

maybe cause of all the dying you may do in the game but winter seems long lmao
maybe cause of all the dying you may do in the game but winter seems long lmao
Winter lasts a total of 3 hours for me cause all the dying :clapdead: such a hard section, and David boss fight some bullshit
i disagree
i think one of the reasons tlou2 works so well is cause its a game and not a movie/show
idk, man. Part 2 has more characters, more drama, and more action.
That’s a big thing where people over estimating how much story is really left to tell. They can easily fit it all within the remaining episodes
Y’all attributing your play through lengths with all these enemy encounters (which will be limited in the show) and player deaths (which there will be none of) so they can go through the rest of the story without all that. Easily within 5 episodes.
No it’s not “rushed”, it’s literally how the game was told.
We are currently OVER half way through the game and some y’all saying “it’s moving too slow”

That’s what I guessed originally but know Kathleen humanization coming

Do you not like that trope? I personally like knowing an antagonist has a good motive and is humanized. Or do you find it corny and just want someone being evil for the sake of evil
This been the only popping thread on ktt2 for like a week

No humanize enemies I love that just when it’s not hamfisted. A character saying their name or trying to trick someone into trading isn’t really humanizing that much they about to die
.

:samok2: and they mad I keep it popping
