The action scenes in this don't hit for me and I am not even trying to hate in anyway shape or form. This is not a show to watch for the action set pieces. Its to watch for the drama close up moments. No part of the action in any of the episodes so far has really hit like that for me. It looking or setting up the action like the game I played 10 years ago is cool, but they got to hit those dramatic notes for me. As well as progress Joel and Ellie bond so the ending pays off which they are making progress on

Episode 3 still the best

I refuse to believe anyone is watching this show for the action scenes. The action scenes have been weak. Very weak which is okay if I want the action to look pretty or be visceral I have a whole game for that.

The acting during the ambush was wooden, didnt sell the feeling of danger at all. Ellie didnt seem fearful for her life at all. They slept walked through that.
