Tbh on my second watch of this episode it feels like Frank “uses” Bill. I also don’t fw how he traded one of Bills guns for seeds without asking first. Also inviting strangers.

I'm willing to bet Sam and Henry || and || winter ep with Ellie and David will be much better

I just looked at the pistol thing as Bill being ok with it since he has many other guns anyway

Oh that’s select critiques and gamers who are more likely at getting a viral tweet with hyperbole than “ it was good I did or didn’t cry well told “ so instead say “ sweep the Emmy’s one of greatest pieces of television ever . The best episode in the season . Holy s*** last of us game is improved by this episode . This episode cured my depression then gave me depression again . God Damn Neil you are a genius “

How you view him as using him ? forcing him to kill him with guilt ? Shelter ? He repays it by showing him there is still beauty to life and treating bullet wound

Yeah the way he mentioned how he'd stay felt very malicious but I guess as it progressed it was more about both being happy

Bill had hundreds of guns and probably wouldn't have even realized he was missing one, i don't think Frank would've done that if that one gun was special to Bill

And even though Frank did take a risk talking to strangers, Bill was a stubborn and paranoid man his entire life . Frank wanted to jog around town, paint stores, and make friends. He wanted to continue finding joy in life.
Bill just wanted to lock himself indoors forever

That’s true I do agree that Frank did end up showing there is beauty in life to him like another poster said.

Idk. POV: you’re single in an absolutely f***ed up apocalypse and you stumble on someone who you have a mutual attraction with who’s also single and DTF, I’m willing to bet you quickly throw out the idea of staying a few days too 🤣

As I’ve said I think their relationship went too mentally perfect versus show the limits of seeing the same face for 10 years even if you are in love with them. I think using a stretch . I think would have helped them to show Frank tending to bills wound while he was “ defenseless “ . Also would have been funny to have bill teach Frank how to be harder / what they would do to pass time outside of F*** , eat the same meal and play piano .

good story telling?? Its just two dudes in a relationship that end up dying in the end Literally just a gay version of The Notebook that takes place in an apocalyptic world

I’m kind of saying this with humor, but even all joking aside — I’m sure in that apocalyptic situation, if you’re fortunate enough to cross paths with someone that you can get vulnerable with and trust, you’d immediately want to be linking and teaming up with them. If you’re someone who has no one, and you come across someone who has no one, and there is even a sliver of connection… you’re not just gonna be like “welp nice to meet you, imma go walk through the forest alone now”

100% true just know in that full 2 hours they likely opened up more to each other than this episode . Vulnerability was mom piano then I don’t really recall much true vulnerability or opening up about their past to each other unless I missed something

    Whats up

I have had a lot of bad days. I have had bad days with you, too. But, I've had more good days with you than with anyone else. So give me one more good day.

Lol looks at number of divorces during the pandemic . Obviously without capitalism it’s different but for me just me would help to see their day to day process be it gathering food , cooking for each other etc for me to connect . Strawberries was obviously a moment more along the lines of what im talking about . Doing all the time jumps to for the most part perfect heart felt moments made me want to see the balance of the bad moments because obviously in any relationship not everything great which they touched on some .

Not a nitpick if it worked for others great 10/10
