It’s the being madly in love for 10 years part for me but I give it to them
Imagine being a grown ass man in your 40s, covering your eyes like a little kid because of a kiss

Legit makes no sense that some people are claiming episode 3 is a filler episode.
S*** had the same plot relevance as the episode would have had if it was 1:1 with the game.
Joel and Ellie go to see Bill, get a car.
I mean the episode was good, but if it was just for Joel n Ellie to go there get supplies and leave, we ain't really need all of that in the grand scheme of things it seems. But these slower episodes I suppose are better for the overall watch experience. Makes you live with the characters.
I get that different things resonate with different people, but I just don't get the whole "this is the best episode in TV in years" talk. I haven't read anything about why this would be touted as that, outside of Bill & Frank being gay
Gamers don't deserve this level story so lets stop making movie games and make them tv shows instead
Sony live action tv shows
Idk since I ain't played the games, but I will say as far as Games to TV Show pipeline, through 3 episodes, might be controversial but I'm riding with The Witcher first 3 episodes > The Last of Us first 3 episodes
Now before any fanboys, I'm not saying this show is trash at all, it is very good. The Witcher just had me more invested. Never played those games either.

Expand . In what way ? Possibly because lore , tone - fantasy vs dystopian, do you like other dark content ? Also watch leftovers

It’s two entirely different genres . No necessary bias. They both serve different moods

Tried watching The Leftovers, but that s*** was boring. Idk if I finished the first season. People tell me since I loved LOST, I should like it, but just felt like a whole lot of nothing was going on.
Uhh I probably have a bias towards fantasy if it's against a dystopian non-syfy setting. I liked the set design, and costume design a lot in The Witcher. It was really good on building atmosphere, and I don't need to mention that stellar sword fight in the first episode. It maintained a pretty good standard for their action set pieces. As far as acting goes, I think I even give the slight edge to The Witcher.
In complete transparency, I think having watched all of TWD like 2 weeks prior to this show coming out, ain't really help either. I honestly do not compare the 2 when I'm watching this, but after every episode, I don't particularly feel anything from this. It's like what I watched was cool, but it doesn't really resonate with me. I don't really feel connected to Joel, or Ellie. Them reading that letter Bill left, and mentioning Tess was the first emotional reaction the show got out of me so far. Idk it feels too much like an actual game tutorial to me. I just want s*** to get started. Feels like we're just going through the motions so far. It's odd because I usually love slow burns.

No clue. The show is the only medium I've consumed for the IP.
Feels like everyone on twitter started talking about this show now. I see it everywhere. So cool.

Should I start it?
