I think this was the only big change from the game. The rest is pretty similar like the first 2 episodes.

This probably the best episode of an HBO series I’ve seen since “The Red Wedding” from GoT’s.

Yes
I think the role is so violent that even if she succeeds it will permanently change her career. Akin to playing a serial killer. Depends how violent it is though. This season has clearly avoided killing humans in brutal ways or up close so it may chill some.

I get the feeling the finale will go all out with the brutality and give a hint to how bad it can be in season 2\. I’m not sure how allowed they’ll be to kill dogs realistically or some of the more violent kills but I do hope they keep some things like Ellie torturing or holding people at gunpoint until they bleed out or blowing off limbs. I hope it pushes boundaries and leaves casual viewers disturbed. I think that’s the best way to honor that aspect of Part 2
