NeonNigga23Yea they wanna make live action stuff but for example, uncharted wasn’t made to promote the game
they did make the ratchet and clank movie to promote the ps4 remake 
and the last of us show will bring in new players but it isn’t made for the sole purpose of selling a gamenot sole purpose
Not only reason its coming out but the profits from game are more direct than ratings on a tv show will likely be thats it
