GIO GIOShow is obviously well produced but the plot is definitely lacking so far. Compared to something like station eleven, as far as recent post apocalyptic HBO adaptations go, it’s not hitting the same
station eleven is a high bar to compare things to, especially the emotional aspect. But i agree with you so far. Still having fun with this show though

NunTheWiserim not saying that the person i was replying to in here has this take, because idk based on what they said... but im just sick of seeing grown men s*** on Bella because they dont think shes cute enough to be playing the 14 year old girl in the story

To be fair up until this point in the game there was no real twist shocks or hooks that separated it from what we know. It became to be something more when they meet more humans

I don't really care for Bella's Ellie at all, so far she's just annoying. It's not an attack on her appearance.
But tbh none of the characters are gonna hit like they did in the game cause that s*** was already a movie and it was perfect. I'm just enjoying seeing the story adapted in a new way.

SteezLaFlareYeah my first time playing TLOU was actually on PS4 since I never copped a PS3 funny enough. Instantly became one of my GOAT games.
The new remaster on the 5 is crazy graphically. I wish they took more gameplay mechanics from TLOU2, but it’s still so good
Saaaame.
They fine tuned the gameplay a bit, but it still feels like "Pt.1" (if that makes sense)
The gunplay's a little more fluid, but that's about it.
If they used "Pt.2's" mechanics, it would've put it over the edge.

I think an ai companion that helps you in a game will just come across different in a tv show . Also these camera angles jittery so only kind of even get that main character feel

Her helping you and saving you from death in a game comes across differently naturally. Then camera of game makes more clear Joel a main character and he quips a bit more or you think of things he would say .
