Part 2 itself wasn't like foundationally well written so its gonna be tough to adapt anyway

Like I think the story of part 2 lends itself to how much value the audience attributes to the overarching theme more than any story i've experienced. If you do not think that theme is worth creating a 20 hour long, very unenjoyable story telling device (im just talking about HOW they told the story, not the story itself), then there is nothing conceivably worthwhile out of TLOU part 2.

Now, maybe if they don't present the story the way Naughty Dog did, maybe it is better. but it would basically require a retcon to tell it differently.

I absolutely love part 2 and how it’s told. But in the television format, I feel they need to change the way it’s told, which will probably change the story itself
