amazing game but the abby arc was definitely a drag

This game is really good, but everything about Abby made this game worse.

Druckman is too far up his own ass atp but he really could've made the goat trilogy in gaming if he stopped trying to be so LA.

Abby had the best parts in the game imo

I mean, he crossed plenty of moral lines in the games we saw, and obviously a bunch of stuff we never got to see from his past (which I wish could be another game, or even dlc side story)

So objectively yeah I'd say he isn't the best of individuals. It's probably just more of a case of people becoming attached to the character because they like him. Just like Joel got attached to Ellie to the point he was willing to do what he did.

Didn't care for her as a character but her campaign made it all worth it. Still the standard (whole game actually) for third person action adventure campaigns imo.

Would have been dope though if it was Joel and Ellie going through all those set pieces

I get why they made the show. Its a fantastic story, but ultimately season 2 was going to suck.

Honestly I'll believe a part 3 when I see it. I personally think they have moved on. Their new game isn't even supposed to drop until like 2027 or something right lol

Who knows though I guess they could always go back to it. You're probably right about what they will do with the story if they do make another. I always felt a third game should be set in another part of the world with new characters and perhaps other variations of infected

What even is good in this kind of world? Why is joel bad? Because he brutally kills to survive in this brutal world? He doesnt steal from other who havent already wronged him like robert. He doesnt eat others like david. He doesnt run survivors down in a humvee with mounted gun. I side with joel in his finale decisions. The fireflies were the ones rushing in to a cure ready to kill the one immune person instead of taking time to: study her, breed an immunity, maybe find a non fatal means to get a cure from her. Good and bad is subjective but i think we objectively see much more evil humans in this world than joel.

Nothing like it on the market imo. If naughty dog (regardless of whatever ppl think about the personal bs with the companies director) had someone like rockstars budget and backing they could really make something out of this world.
