Dog it’s been an amazing year for games and it still feels like the oddest thing to me about last of us fans is that they are trying to chase one specific high

Of course nothing is level of detail of last of us 2 and rdr2

Two games notorious for cost of money to make and terrible amounts of crunch

We need more games with crunch fr fr

Honestly TLOU2 is the peak of gaming so nothing really interests me anything more

I also despise the open world trend in most games now

I been saying there's only like a handful of good games

Everything else is just a "stereotypical game"

I be thinking yall are joking but deadass last of us 2 ruined gaming for some of yall

I guess I think most video games stories aren’t life changing I go for the gameplay and there has been plenty of fire since to me

It's not about last of us

That game just fits the handful of good games argument

like they tick all the boxes - nothing feels challenging and difficult just super easily digestible s*** that will keep fans happy

I miss more variety in third person shooters in general

Third person games always go through struggle years where it feels the work of the animations leads to them just going first . Also to avoid the smoke .

I used to play more games

Nowadays nothings really interested me since TLOU2. I’ve tried other games and just find them boring (Breath of the wild, cyberpunk, Starfield, god of war ragnarok, elden ring being some of those)

All those games are entirely different vibes and aims than last of us 2 but I get ya I guess lol

s*** is insane to me to the point I want a book or article written about the effect

I am trying to be respectful but any one game ruining gaming for me sounds terrible . They love this level of cinematic

I’m going for the platinum using chapter select to clean up some collectibles, that ps5 upgrade can’t come soon enough these load times are atrocious. I also feel pretty dirty running through on very light with one shot kills on while watching the guide, feels so wrong to play that way lol

can’t believe i only left 1 artifact on some of these chapters and they don’t even let you see which ones you already have so I’ve gotta go pick them all up again
