It was a great way to flesh out Dina’s character and her relationship with Ellie, but it’s just such a long and slow section where you are mainly just scavenging items . It’s the only section that drags for me on my replays

Lol Dina gets some time but Ellie just talking like Batman “ why you being weird about this horse with a sliced open stomach organs flowing out “

When Ellie and Dina start calling each other babe, and you see their relationship develop in real time

You probably didn't see my previous posts, but I consider TLOU2 to be one of the greatest games I've ever played (granted, I took a hiatus from gaming for a couple of years and am behind lol).

Ghost and horizon definitely not but not every studio gets to cook a project that long when Sony like “ we need something “ now with both Sony and Microsoft having a variety of studios and more time hoping we see more love projects ( when creative directors keep leaving )

i honestly wanna sell this s*** but it’s nice to load up TLOU2 and either replay a level or just restart the whole story

TLOU2 will def go down as MGS2 level

it may not be as groundbreaking narratively (the geopolitical stuff honestly rivals orwell, say what you will but it’s a multi million dollar production on the highest selling console of all time. the work went into the narrative just as much as everything else about that amazing game) but god damn

from the release controversy, to the HBO show, to just how much of a massive leap the gameplay takes…

ellie and you know who have such incredible air tight control. it’s an incredibly rewarding combat system, with truly customizable difficulty sliders (rare in console games)

they didn’t have to make this game as fun as it did. the story stands by itself.’but holy s***, i don’t think there’s a single third person shooter game that feels this fluid, fast paced, and fun. it’s a pure adrenaline rush when the combat is hectic and it’s so rewarding when you clear through dozens of enemies in a level.

it’s hard to accept but it may be 5+ years till we see a game this good, if BOTW2 isn’t up to par
