After playing half life alyx, the JEFF chapter set a new standard for stealth and scariness in games for me, and sadly this game doesnt really come close to that for me right now.

I want to believe it’s not, but considering the timing of everything going on right now, it would only make sense tbh. If so, quite pathetic. If just coincidence, then I support.
So far their characters just seem to exist, there’s no real effort to make the focal point of their respective character imo. These people feel real.

I don’t think any single aspect of this game is top tier (except maybe the graphics),but it’s the way naughty dog weaves all the elements together into a cohesive whole that will make or break this game ultimately.

Jun 19, 2020Only about an hour in but really great so far. Game already feels like ND’s biggest cinematic push yet. Love what they’re doing with the story at the point where I’m at.
Not gonna go back to read the leaks/controversies til I’m done with the game but it’s so obvious why idiots would get mad at this. Although it would be hilarious if you fired up the game and the first 17 characters you meet are transgender people of color
