MUNCH KHINGSo people should just accept stupid, lazy, hamfisted writing? It’s not about seeking fan service it’s about wanting a well written sequel in a game that is primarily story driven.
This whole loser vs right wing s*** or whatever the f*** it’s devolved into is dumb as s***. Literally fanatical dumbasses on both sides who treat this s*** like rival sports teams.
Plenty of normal human beings who do not like the story for plenty of normal reasons. Trying to call everyone who dislikes the game stupid man babies is just as dumb as idiots talking about LGBT agendas.

explainit sometimes feels like the game is more reliant on convenient flashbacks over clever pacing and development
it wouldve been more believable imo if that pivotal moment at the start was towards the middle of the game, with more setup for abby - maybe have her be more conflicted, as her life was saved?
i'm all for expanding on the fundamentals of the story and world to push it forward
but this feels more like an overly defeatist cautionary tale with an 'open ending' not nearly as captivating as the first game's

i feel u kindamaybe if the game was just not mentioning joel that much or like just vaguely mentioned him not being there anymore and then setup abby and stuff and then having a flashback to what actually happened itd hit hard too
