150-153 - best 4 episode stretch. hilarious. 150’s as a whole are debatably classic.
187 - Funny
224 - probably their best episode. topics flow seamlessly and the jokes for the topics are seamless.
174 - Funny
164 - Duppy/Story of Adidon
77 - Mal’s 1st episode, jail story.
188 - Push interview
My top 10 episodes.
The lottery story might be the funniest on the pod, that or the nigga with the big d***
I will take a break from listening to the podcast for a while. I feel there is a shift happening that takes some if not most of the enjoyment out of it.
The always being on the righteous and mmorally superior side when it comes to discussing certain subjects, feels so uppity and dishonest to me.
Saying things like i never make business decisions off of money is such a elitist thing to say. Painting yourself to be some king that makes only the right moves but was on love and hiphop looking like master goof. I just cant relate no more.
Bruh I'm f***in sick of Mal, and been for a minute. Dude tries to sound profound and just repeats the same s*** over and over. Some form of dudes are corny, there's more corny than cool s***, he doesn't understand why rappers f*** the same women, he's never been hurt. God damn ya'll I'm sick of f***ing Mal. Adds nothing to the conversation.

I kinda understand his opinion from time to time but he lacks the vocabulary or the gift to break down his opinion other then the surface level he starts and ends with.
Like in the latest episode he wasn’t able to describe why 69 should not receive attention from the hiphop world. It was a great opportunity to go in depth about how the lifestyle of the impoverished black community is so easily marketable and digested by middle america when it comes from people who aren’t actually black. He never goes in depth and yes it is annoying. I do feel he is atleast honest about who he is at all times
i feel like they are going to be offered way less than they expect in july and are gonna have to leave spotify lol
Joe will act like hes above giving attention to certain headlines but then proceed to gossip about barely recognizable personalities like Natalie Nunn. Hes just so weird
I feel like Rory could spend a full 20 minutes s***ting on a record and Joe or Mal could be like “I dunno, I liked it” and Rory’d be like, “Oh, it’s phenomenal, don’t get me wrong.”

He has the "white guy in hiphop" victim mentality
Quick question, why does it seem like everybody hates Mal lmao
Only asking bc I haven’t been following the podcast for too long. Been watching here and there throughout the past year or 2

Some people (Joe included sometimes) feel like his unwillingness to be vulnerable and chance maybe not coming off as the coolest dude ever at all times leaves him with little in the way of valuable contributions to conversations. He also gets money with certain rappers who come up a lot and can’t really have objective discussions about them on-air.

Mal is a very interesting person who has a certain perspective on life and rarely strays away from it.
This causes him to be close minded, wich is not really a plus when you’re job is discussing the hiphop culture that is as global and diverse as it can get in any culture.
Also the cool factor he portrays is such a contradiction when you compare it to his experiences in life. Cool to him is basically not trying anything out that may be seen as uncool wich makes him uncool.
He also likes to speak in absolutes wich makes his takes annoying even when they have a taste of truth

That part about him speaking in absolutes is a great point, especially as I start going back to the older episodes when they spoke a lot more about random/'philosophical' life s***
But God damn lmao even though I do it all the time it feels weird coming into this thread and just seeing people s***ting on them nonstop. Lot of good points tho

Durex Condoms up there too
I think his fingernails remark the other episode really crumbled whatever was left of his facade to the fans
Plus he followed it up with a lame Twitter tirade
How many times a day do you’ll think Joe manually type in “6ix9ine” on IG an goes to his page because he is too P**** to follow him? 🤔
I am thinking 3
yall be in here psychoanalyzing them

they do the same thing for a living.
I promise you Joe's narcissistic self would love this thread.

“go in depth about how the lifestyle of the impoverished black community is so easily marketable and digested by middle america when it comes from people who aren’t actually black” is some of the best s*** I’ve seen posted on KTT. Props sir.
