The podcast signing to Tidal was something that Elliot brought to Rory (and later Joe) and that was turned down. On a separate occasion, Elliot asked Rory if he wanted to make a playlist for tidal and Rory said sure. The playlist did numbers, and Rory told Elliot if he were to ever to do another playlist, he’d have to get paid

The Eliot TIDAL deal Rory mentioned. He said that one he approached Joe with, Joe eviscerated him for it, but turned around and with the exact same deal and numbers to do it.
Plus this nigga Rory is talking about putting sweat and equity into the pod, to which Joe said they didn't do.
