as far as the hypocritical stuff goes, that’s my biggest gripe with Joe. it wasn’t an allegation or a refuted story like with Charlamagne or with Joe himself who says Esther recanted.
Fab literally knocked Emily’s teeth out. That’s what happened. And Joe might have said the situation sounds nasty on the pod, played it safe and then a week later called him to joke about his outfits lol. I get life is complicated, but it’s not right to talk this talk about women’s safety and then never even address the fact that Fab knocked Emily’s teeth out and then married her so she wouldn’t be forced to testify against him. I can guarantee that hearing him call in to the podcast or get mentioned every episode is uncomfortable for some women.
Even if Joe still is fly with Fab (which he totally has the right to be), it would have sat better if there was some PUBLIC accountability for that situation. They talk about integrity a lot. That’s a big integrity move of being honest about what happened and addressing it whether Fab hates you forever afterwards or not, just for the sake of keeping your word about empowering women and victims of abuse. That’s the thing about talking all altruistic every week, you gotta really mean it and have continuity with it.

yeah i really hate that idea that because somebody is friends or works closely with someone who did something terrible, we should just assume they also knew about it and enabled it. rory has talked about not hanging around after events for years on this podcast. he’s never led on that he even hangs with them niggas or does stuff with them after the work is over. so if you immediately went to assuming he’s apart of chris’ behavior or condoned it, you either don’t have the brain capacity think rationally or contextually, or you hate rory for some personal reason and want to see him taken down. either way, it’s embarrassing.
