Don’t see why he’s have an issue with that. To my understanding there was no real contractual deal involving the podcast up to that point, so everything might’ve just been a real genuine thing between friends.

I can’t see how someone who loves to wax poetic about ownership, bad contracts, and all that s*** would have a problem with 2 people who helped get the pod to where it is, ask for equity. Truthfully we all should’ve caught on when he started talking about “honoring bad deals”.

He might’ve very well been over paying Rory & Mal, so them asking for more, or to be privy to more of the ongoing stuff could’ve been offensive to him. But that’s on him for not being transparent with them from the get go.
