I believe the Pod is becoming extremely generic. Partly because of who is on there and partly because of the topics that are being discussed.

If you limit yourself to “ mainstream news” and “new music” it becomes predictable and boring.

Where are the deep dives, the observations the less obvious topics.

I see AK on his twitch doing a way better job on topics because he is in tune with what is going on. The XXL class of 2018 and the development of their careers for example.

AK caters to his audience better and is more engaging then the JB pod. I never said it was the same audience. I was talking about the act of introducing topics that are not just complex.com headliners or love and hiphop bs.

The numbers are going down for a reason I believe the pod lacks any type of depth. Niggas giggling and telling old ass story’s ain’t it.

How Joe Budden approached the Cudi/Offwhite topic is what i expect more of, he looked at it from a angle i didn’t even see.

And the audience cares about hiphop the xxl freshman list or any other topic about hiphop artist and their career trajectory from the point of view from Joe Budden is interesting.

The only time I’ll worry about Joe f***ing everything up is if the podcast starts being like Akademiks. They’re on a good path to me.
