I mean the fact that he holds JP in such high regard in itself robs him of so much credibility. Kevin saw what Jordan Peterson, Ben Shapiro and in a lot of ways Joe Rogan did for young white men and is trying to pull similar s*** on young black dudes who lack direction. He's profiting off the ignorance and shock value.

some of the stuff he says i disagree with, but other points or ideas he has, i agree with him. some stuff i never really thought about it and he has a good perspective and take on it

I think he just respects the free speech aspect and the Patreon / media success. and apparently JP is moreso someone who keeps people from becoming far right than someone who is a gateway d*** to being far right

i think his strongest point was how he said women have no problem saying what they don't want in a man (don't want a short guy, a broke guy, etc.) and that there shouldn't be anything wrong with men doing the same

That's shallow though and shouldn't be praised. Jordan Peterson isn't the Messiah of free speech. He purposely tried to validate hateful viewpoints. If your only defense of your views is that you're allowed to hold those views they might not be as refined as you think they are.
Also to your second point, lots of people smarter than me have already drawn the connection to Jordan and his place in the Alt Right pipeline. We don't need to talk about it.
