To be fair, the JBP surpassed Spotify's expectations so I can see why Joe got big headed but the rest of the post is fax.

Eh Spotify deal as they said wanted a hand in everything in return, while contributing to almost nothing. So I don’t hold that against them.

I think the problem is since turning down the re up, and Joe saying “the phone ain’t stop ringing” but no deal has seemingly been done for the podcast. Then add in the only person who seems to be elevating is Joe with him receiving a position within Patreon. Rory & Mal and the others might make a little extra with the money from Patreon, but idk what the splits are on that and don’t know how many subs they got. But I doubt the extra income is eclipsing what they would’ve made from Spotify which was reportedly $30m, and they’ve claimed that wasn’t even the highest offer they’ve gotten.
