A Patreon is prob the best way to go at this point. I see them being able to get a n easy million+ a year from Patreon. Just might mess up the content
Lmfao no, patreons are lucky to land a few thousand a month as its basically fan donations, splitting that up four ways thats pocket change
I love the podcast, but I feel like Joe really doesn't understand the game. The way he talks about the tech companies like he and all creators have the leverage in the relationship. Both sides fail to see they need eachother. Joe has an audience, but lacks the technical skills to build a product/service or build the infrastructure for distribution. On the other end of that dynamic, if you have the best product or channel of distribution and no users, who cares.
More founding teams will include a founder with an audience for a built in userbase.
That aside, these guys have attention. That is it. Now sell that audience products and/or services OR be part of the founding team of a product/service. It's not about gating the attention and monetizing the podcast itself.

Andrew Schulz podcast got like 18k subscribers. That’s over 100k a month. I’m sure Joe budden can do that

I don’t think his pride will let him do that, he was very uncomfortable when fans sent him donations when he used to do YouTube live streams last year

Touchee
I swear I remember this moment differently, could have sworn it was Ak that accused her of "dressing like a stripper"
The editing of that episode is terrible lmaooo
I have only watched like 2 episodes but Bridget is the only interesting person on there tbh. Mandi is just annoying as f*** but at least she's not as boring as Olivia.
Trust me, Olivia is the interesting one out of all of them, whatever two episodes you watched wasn't a good first impression.
Rory gets closer and closer to stealing off on joe every episode and i could never not love it
Joe can keep trying young chin check if he want
gon have that bigen beard on the floor
I’m waiting on Rory to say his engagement is off they never have anything good to say about his relationship

You're just now realizing that Joe has virtually no financial literacy?
It took him until now, years deep into his pod, during a pandemic, to start a patreon
(and while some of that likely has to do with personal pride about advertisements and subscription models, it doesn't attest to the fact that the dude who prides himself as a progenitor of being ahead of things back in the day is just becoming privy to s*** like bitcoin and patreon)

It's not that lucky at all. A slight misnomer, but think of it this way: if online, digital artists, who saturate their market every day on twitter, can walk away with 2-3k a month minimum with just tutorials, WIPs, and pictures, and artists who make comics make more than that because they're providing a service model, what do you think a podcast with thousands of listeners are going to garner? If they get 7k patreon members who all pay 5 dollars a month, that adds up, and you'd be surprised by people's generosity with these sorts of things.
Not to mention a patreon is just another revenue stream, likely, (i hope) not intended to be their main source.
