Yeah I mean, I just think about how TV often had/has longer commercial breaks than the ads we have to watch on any streaming tbh
Also I got adblocker, but if you're watching it on like a tv or console or something i dont know if u can skip the ads

I've enjoyed his pod in the past but I just ended up liking less and less because he enables certain people I strongly dislike so...

joe made a great point in that giving celebrities and notable people who aren’t podcasters the crazy bag then expecting them to grow and gain listeners and stay consistently good when they have no idea how to do it is a bad investment and will prove itself to be bad.
it’s funny nobody mentioned the irony of him being on the other side of the situation when total slaughter happened.
but one of the most important things to making a good podcast is years of consistency to understand how to find that rhythm and keep it interesting. this is my second favorite podcast ever (and i’m a long time fan of pods back to earlier in the past decade) and it was not good in the beginning at all. it took them finding the right groove. spotify throwing money around is looking at skin tone and prior deaks and a***ytics to make decisions but they’re missing the context, and that’s where the importance lies.
I think if Michelle plays her cards right she could have a successful podcast, I think she might bring a certain audience that isn't necessarily into politics at large, because she's said she really doesn't like it, but just talking about things that are going on.
She's nice to listen to and def can evoke some feeling, its just yeah will she make it through this initial starting period, since she's not inherently a podcaster

They will probably do like Flagrant2. They will release 1 free podcast every week and 1 podcast on Patreon.
They will start doing ads, maybe take interviews for money.

Just use Adblock and ublock on chrome and you’ll never see ads again

Btw I don’t see how what sport is doing with podcast be effective if you don’t have to pay to listen to them. I only ever use Spotify for the pod and nothing else. I feel like the exclusive podcasts are going to have to behind a paywall eventually.
