Spotify wants to get new subscribers. With adding sport podcasts like The Ringer (200Ms) and a bunch of middle aged white men with disposable incomes like Rogan (100Ms+) they are tapping into new demos.
I understand why Joe is mad but they dont really have the leverage.

Yea I guess. I’d never initiate a physical altercation with a woman, but I ain’t gonna let anybody harm me n just take it. I’d try removing myself from the situation first of course if it’s a woman. Like 1 thing I don’t care if it’s a woman, man, or even Jon Jones, if you spit on me we throwing hands. In the case of Jon Jones since I know I ain’t got no possible chance of beating him in a fist fight, I’m stabbing or shooting him.
The way I’d raise my future daughter, respect herself. If she’s willing to put her hands on someone she gotta be accepting to how that person may respond. I ain’t gone tell her “men should never hit women” and have her thinking she can move anyhow and a man will never get physical with her.

I’d just go to Patreon and set the monthly subscription to $1.
They’ve said multiple times they get like a million plays in a week?Even if let’s say 75%-80% of people didn’t convert over to patreon right away they’d still have a minimum of 50-100k subscribers.
$50-100k a month isn’t bad (maybe it is idk how much they making on Spotify rn)
But like another user said above, they should create their own network. JBP pod, Joe and Ak pod, and try bringing in a few more people they’re close with (Vince, someone they called a few episodes ago said they starting a new pod, etc.)
