she was definitely brought in for her strength on the mic since she’s been hosting her own show for a while, which is why she can feed another speaker like Marc or trigger speakers like Umar to talk in depth

Yeah listening to the whole episode does add a lot to the clip cause flip was already feeling a way before he arrived. Joe and Ian told him to take half a day and only do Patreon. He didn’t like that. Marc was throwing little shots here and there up until the moment.
I def see Flip getting a lil insecure about his place up there… nigga needed to find his way in. I thought we would see him donkroe stand alone content with Improper improv but that lil buzz died off. I like his LFC on his own s*** but he needs another lane

Yeah honestly this. I remember an episode from earlier in the year and Joe actually mentioned that change was going to happen lol. The pod is slowly transforming to what you just mentioned.
You see it similarly with Flip with the push back on Joe questioning why he hates rap or recently said if he wasn't a rapper, the podcast would be entirely different. How when the podcast is what it is because he was a rapper. Money will change you but its his s***.

Yeah I think things got super wonky for him after the Mel situation. I’m probably reading too much into it but a lot of what they were dancing around during the argument was probably alluding to whatever behind the scenes.

Even in a corporate job as long as it ain’t come to actual blows, Marc & Flip wouldn’t be fired, and can’t be fired for that lil argument. He would be looking at a potential lawsuit if he fired either of them for that specific incident
He actively creates the environment for these things to happen but since he makes money off these types of conflicts viewers shouldn't be seeing he's fine with it.
