Joe mimicking Drake will never not be funny just like his dislike for Logic especially considering the fact that if they met he’d love him.

    Idk

Don’t know their numbers but 2 million listeners per pod and the fact they been top 5 of podcasts on Spotify should be way more than 10

That’s a slap in the face

Where y’all getting 100m from? Rogan’s deal is definitely closer to 200m + incentives. He was doing like 190m downloads a month. Reportedly he was making 30m from the podcast alone. The deal would make no sense if he did it for 100m lol.

JBP averages about 2m listeners per episode iirc. They should be asking for at least 20m. All these unproven podcasters that Spotify is throwing the bag at. JBP undoubtedly raised their profile as a destination for Podcast when they made the deal.

I feel like if they don’t get a new deal by the time they have about ~10 episodes left, they’re going to walk.

It may not be exactly 100 mil, but it's somewhere in the ballpark.

No details about the deal were ever released to my knowledge but Andrew Schulz who’s become relatively close with Joe speculated it had to be more.

100m literally don’t make any sense even if it is just a licensing deal. Bill Simmons podcast was bought for 200m. Joe Rogan by far has the highest numbers of any podcast.

if he only posting on spotify then the deal has to be worth way more

    prolly 200-300million

the very least their biggest and most noticeable. They deserve a bag cause they helped pushed spotifys podcast. But podcast on Spotify was already a big thing before them. The true crime pods were big on there

    i think its a multi-year deal.

dont think there is much of a production cost. jamie is his engineer and theres prolly a cameraman there. they record in his compound and he said he wasnt changing that.

as far as i know the guests dont get paid, they get so much exposure, their ecstatic with just that.

Lowkey though, i feel like if they're being videotaped for 3 hours at a time providing in-depth interviews they're entitled to some $

just thinking about it, it could just be fun/chill to go on there and yeah it is exposure

plus i know when it was in its earlier stages joe (rogan) obviously wasn't making even a fraction of now so
