ur goal post moving, a whole project doesn't need to be influenced by blonde, for blonde to have influence lol. But here's the albums and songs from artists on that list that were influenced by Blonde
Rocky - parts of Testing and even his new single same problems
Kendrick - YAH
Sza - parts of CTRL, perfect timing and Blind
Daniel Caesar - Freudian
Travis - My Eyes, Parasail
Jordan Ward - Forward
Choker - Peak
Lorde - Louvre
Brockhampton - Ginger
Omar Apollo -
Jaden Smith - Syre
Dijon - How Do You Feel
Blood Orange - Negro Swan
James Blake - The Colour In Anything
Joji - Before The Day Is Over
Fam from the first post I made about the subject I clearly stated body of work that is influenced directly from Blonde so miss me with the “goalpost moving” rhetoric
Bro just naming random s*** again. All I’m asking for is one project that draws directly from Blonde, that was either commercially successful, or critically acclaimed at least. And I’m asking in what ways did that project draw directly from Blonde where it would be a general consensus to people who are at least somewhat knowledgeable and aware of Frank, Blonde, (music in general) etc will mostly all agree with it.
I said it in either the first or second post discussing this, so it ain’t no goalpost moving over here. Y’all just been dodging it, and saying I’m pressed instead of addressing the actual point

yeah u said projects earlier, but then afterwards you said this "Y’all still ain’t named not 1 artist who draws directly from Blonde", which is the one I replied to with the list.
and 10 out of 15 on that list are literally albums bro like what are we doing here.
and here you go straight from the sources themselves, since i'm just naming random s***
Lorde - Melodrama

I would say CTRL by SZA is one of those albums that have a strong influence from Blonde. the intro (supermodel) and outro (20 somethings) with their use of acoustic guitar and SZA's sort of free form style of flow come directly from Frank imo.
There are more blatant influences like the other dude named but yea
This why I love Vince
I still don't like that Joe has these types of conversations, just to lighten the mood or disregard the urgency in some conversations but at least he'll touch in them
How tf Ish don't know who Bryan Cranston is? All that Your Honor d*** riding they did
I’m like 2 episodes behind but Joe got Ice on the Frank Ocean topic
Ice was getting super sassy.

I guess this is cause Joe supposedly called Tax a worker on Gillie and Wallo’s s***. Gillie kept saying that Tax was the one who gave Joe game on podcasting but Joe credited Combat Jack and Rosenberg/Cipha Sounds then said why he get game from Tax if he’s a work or some s*** like that. Gillie knew what he was doing with that s*** lol

since you niggas like writing letters!
Nah but for real Joe better have something to say, no subs. Set this b**** off
Vultures Rory and mal tried to sink the ship
But at the top it’s just us

Is that what they were trying to do?

Joe should. He been speaking highly of Tax before Tax started going off on Joe when that Complex list came out.
Joe always in some s*** when he on vacation
Ish saying Dizaster is black but not know who Dizaster is might be one of the funnier things.
Is that what they were trying to do?
No lol
One of the most important albums of the 2010s is a crazy proclamation. Y’all still ain’t named not 1 artist who draws directly from Blonde but it’s apparently soooo influential. The most significant thing about Blonde was how Frank used it to get out his deal. That is what people talk about anytime it’s brought up. Not the music, him finessing the labels out his deal.
the good old tpab argument
