facts his general way of producing is different than JD

but my thing is that they give him so much credit for being an A&R at uptown or an exec at bad boy and start acting like because he approved, he had a role in the creation of it.

like even when he’s actually producing, he’s not making beats but he is molding the song and coaching everybody to get the product he wants.

but that didn’t happen with “forever my lady” and countless other classic songs they keep bringing up. he just happened to work at the label and helped their image, but he didn’t do anything with their music. the come and talk to me remix was it.

I guarantee you that if it was the other way around and Puff was the hands-on producer/ songwriter that would be Joe's main argument for why Puff is better.

But just for context, this is the same Podcast that compared Hov and Puff to Malcolm X & Dr. MLK. That alone should tell you that you can't trust their takes about Hov or Puff.
