He is a proven liar, manipulator, abuser, etc, but there are a few who gonna d*** eat no matter what itt. If you like all that cool, but they act like the s*** he says is law, and a matter of fact.I haven’t really listened to the pod since Rory & Mal left, and I don’t listen to Rory & Mal’s podcast either. I just consume clips of both every now and then. For me personally I just can’t listen to Joe talk for more than 20 minutes at a time anymore. Especially if he’s waxing poetic and tryna be self-righteous. The facade he put up is forever gone after that situation for me.
i remember the days when he would rant about the "man", people loved the complex and spotify rants, but then he did foul s*** to rory and mal. he was jealous of the "man" because in actuality he wanted that power.

Yup he’s like Kanye in that regard, just way less successful at it, and on a much smaller scale. Started peeping it during the music contract talks, and when he was calling up that Atlantic executive every other episode. But the situation with Rory & Mal crystallized everything. He doesn’t mind 360 deals as long as he’s the one handing out the contract basically.

joe really hired 4 more people to try and replace rory n mal and the views are still half of what they used to be with the quality of the pod gone.
if joe wasnt so greedy they couldve still been poddin and making great content together.

I don't think it's a schtick, it's a pretty valid fight between certain "families," contracts, and ownership of intellectual property. (There's also a s\*\*\* ton of other stuff, but I'm talking about the meat of it)

Well, Ye s*** is really substantive. If we listening not to be offended he talking about the origins of the so called Black people in this country. Retaking ownership of things that were adopted like religion and the Rebel flag kinda gets lost in what people call "antics." Him talking about these contacts, naming handlers, and prominent people in these private companies isn't a fight Joe is fighting. I don't agree with everything he says but I'm aware of the incredible amount of pressures on or around him. I'm grateful for what information he has been and bringing to the forefront. I can't front I've already seen some distasteful takes from some of the users on this site but I can understand. This information is purposefully not shared in public spaces often
I think Joe is perfectly fine assimilating to status quo. His gift for talking is phenomenal, but he's not really informed on much but industry gossip. I don't think he thought he'd get this far 😂
