They didn't get into a real TDE discussion, they spent half the interview going back and forth about Solo wanting mainstream status. Ice was saying Kendrick is ducking smoke from Cole. I don't know if he was joking or not, but Soul didn't read it as a joke to the point he had to go put in a disclaimer explaining how KDot is his guy/family etcetera.
