If you end up talking about a completely different scenario then what happened its basically fan fiction. You don't need to have a book report of research but to not even read a one page article of the facts and just talk based on a headline especially when they always whine about ppl doing click bait is stupid af

I had a podcast. Unless your entire format is based around “informative discussion” it’s a massive pace killer. If you wanna come prepared you might as well commit and at best make it a segment. At worst you’ll be finding out about stuff live and unless you can navigate that on air you’re in for some downtime. God forbid it’s something beyond light topics and you read a wrong article or don’t read that other article or whatever the s***; your smart-ass commenters will let u know about it

I don’t need you, as a podcaster, to know everything and have the best takes; I read the bio and I know what I’m gettin into. Long as you’re not going full Rogan just have fun being wrong

An experienced host will find their footing yeah. But a lot of them don’t care or find out about it as they progress and from a different perspective (ego, personal experience). To make it more confusing, I kinda have a soft spot for Joe regularly being wrong I’m sure if it was any other host I’d be right there saying ‘read on it or don’t mention it’
