This thread has inspired me. I wanna do another one on the politics of genius because some artists get credit as singer-songwriters (i.e Beyonce), rapper-producers (Travis Scott) and others get discredited like Drake and Mariah. There's a lot of politics in the industry regarding songwriting and producer credits in order to position in an artist and honestly, in hip hop, Drake basically took the brunt of the it in the past decade.
