Enjoyed the movie, wish there was more to the third act but overall had a good time. It’s a good summer crowd pleaser

Dumbest thing was trying to raise people’s expectations to “greatest superhero movie of all time” when it’s just a fun hero movie

    This is legitimate

Granted, aside from the obvious, I get why it was done in this manner

Not this sequence per se but the CG in general is my biggest criticism of the movie

the suit is nintendo 64 graphics

This movie needed more time in the oven when it came to the CGI forreal

I wouldn’t be shocked if they drop an updated version in theaters in a couple of weeks or when it gets to home release

Damn I thought they used a lot of time to smooth the visual effects out smh

Imma just explain the sequence since this is the spoiler thread. Y’all know what you’re in for when in here

So basically this sequence takes place in the speed force. Earlier in the movie it’s established that we see where in the timeline The Flash is moving because the speed force shows time kind of like a dome. So earlier in the movie there’s a CG cameo of Henry Cavill from Justice League as we see Barry going back in time. At this point in the movie, Dark Flash and Flash have been going at it. Young Barry has been going back in time too much to undo the events of the desert fight. Doing this causes the multiverse to start to break. This is where you see the parallel earths. They are all in the same spherical fashion. You see Jay Garrick, George Reeves’ Superman, Adam West’s Batman, Christopher Reeve and Helen Slater as Superman and Supergirl, Nicolas Cage’s Superman (who has a semi extended small sequence fighting the giant spider, iykyk) and maybe another Earth but I don’t remember. The only physical non CG items in this sequence or any speed force sequence for that matter are The Flash, Young Flash, and part of Dark Flash. Everything else is CGI

I think Jay Garrick was played by Teddy Sears in this(granted it was CGI still). Which if you remember he was “Jay Garrick” in Season 2 of the show before being revealed to actually be Zoom. So why they used him for Jay Garrick and not someone else or John Wesley Shipp boggles my mind
