I give it a solid 7/10
I was liking it more until it got to the climax battle and 3rd act where I felt it dropped off heavy. Zod was wasted, I can see why Shannon said what he said cause he probably had no idea what his role was in the film. The twist of young Barry being the evil Barry that’s been trying to fix wuniverse for years and the one that pushed present Barry to this timeline was hard but I wish they would’ve showed a battle between them 2 before young Barry decided to sacrifice himself, it felt kinda rushed.
Cameos of old characters do nothing for me so spending a whole section of that killed momentum for me. I didn’t even know Nic Cage Superman was something people were hyped to see come to life.
Besides the weird babies scene I really liked the first 2/3 of the movie. I thought the humor worked and character motivations made sense. Ngl I never really liked Ezra Flash in Snyder films, I found him to be annoying. In this one they were actually like able (still don’t mind if they recast, I’m sure someone else can do better)
Ending the movie with a Clooney joke was kinda disappointing id rather it have been Keaton Batman if they wanted to show Barry ending up in a different universe but since this is just a one off movie anyway f*** it, doesn’t matter.
7/10 almost 8/10 if it wasn’t for the mid climax fight and rushed resolution. Over hated online, I’m glad I watched it
That one part where Keaton Batman was being held by a guard and he throws a boomerang at a wall then it bounces back to hit the guy off of him was hard af
Also give Daley & Goldstein a CBM already.
You can see their writing & humor in sections of this and Homecoming
You know whats even funnier? Ppl actually enjoy the movie but general audiences dont give a s*** about it
im worried about the director of this directing that batman movie. like don't promote that nigga. he needs to never touch another DC property AGAIN
This is something that needs to be talked about more. Finn’s Batman has no chance at living up to the prestige of Reeves’ movies, but if Mushcietti is really directing The Brave and the Bold… Gunn’s Batman is doomed.

I think if they lean into the comic/animated series side of Batman giving us villains that Reeves won’t touch it has a chance to differentiate itself enough for some to prefer it. Depends on execution tho
Another positive I want to give this movie credit for is how they essentially gave us Barry’s origin story through younger Barry. Such a clever way to do it for audiences who are just now being introduced to the character while not having to make the whole movie an origin
i don't like using this word but the more i think about it
this is the most capeshit film to have ever been made. straight up.
Gon give this a 3/5, start and middle was good, ending fell tf off with that s***ty desert cgi battle, and the ending sucked
Is this real or just a fan edit? Why he do that?
It’s real. Later on in this scene after Flash goes back a few seconds a couple of times Bruce somehow knows that he’s meant to die here. How he knows, beats me.
I had sometime to think about it but how did the movie not touch on who killed his mother. I feel like that’s a pretty important detail that should’ve been touched on.
DC couldn't even top an animated movie
when has a live action movie ever topped its animated counterpart?

Andy said they would’ve saved it for the sequel
But since there is no sequel, I can tell you it was Reverse Flash

He knew that James Gunn didn't wanna keep him and mandated his execution

what was it? got taken down
I feel like an aspect not being talked about a lot is how much better this movie looks than a majority of recent MCU films. “Blah blah blah the cgi 3rd act” which is valid ofc but the actual look of the rest of the film isn’t boring, bland or flat. The color grading is solid and the camerawork is fun. All things you can’t always say about a lot of mcu films. S*** looks miles better than Thor 4, DS2 and Antman
The parts that weren't in that barren desert/ dome actually looked like a film. Really not seeing why Andy is getting so much hate on this.
Don’t blame the VFX artists. Had to reach unrealistic deadlines to do this
It’s all on WB

The mother called out to Barry like she saw him before he came in the room
For a second I thought the twist was gonna be Barry going in time and killing his mom. Woulda been an all timer moment but def too dark
I liked the movie but they did nerf the kryptonians but almost every character gets nerfed as a franchise continues like Thor

At the end of this clip is the part I’m talking about 🔥
