I've been ho-hum about the MCU's use of the multiverse. I thought Loki was very good and the upcoming Kang plot looks cool, but the use of multiverse in No Way Home and Multiverse of Madness was a lot of gimmicky fan fare. The Flash on the other hand looks like exactly what a multiversal superhero movie should look like. Looks like tons of fun, high stakes, and using multiversal characters in a meaningful way as opposed to cameos for the sake of cameos.

Yup, which is why no way home was a medium tier super hero movie. Good fan fare only gets you so far.

Yep. Say what you will about how goofy NWH could be plot wise, the fan service stuff was done in a very meaningful way, there’s no arguing it either lol
