He didn’t have to say f*** ice literally but he didn’t say anything about them when yall said yesterday there would be something in there to that effect.

It is what is though. Like I said yesterday I already know yall love to pick and choose

I said have direct political messaging that speaks on the culture. Not say the organization name . Tim Cook works directly with ice , Israeli ai and Trump . No matter what on some level he a hypocrite. I wish he had more punch to it

same thing I ask folks about kendrick show,

Did yall want kendrick to come up on stage with a fake gun to shoot a man with a lucian mask on him "this is america" style?

Did yall want Bad Bunny to hold a match to an ice mascot?

I’m fine with artists not being political or being revolutionary. It seems like it’s a lot of yall that have an issue with it

I said itt my issue is the emphasis on escapism lol.

It's hard to really be as into some of these current luxury raps when mofos is starving outside.

    But life itself is political.

This thread says nothing about ICE. It’s about Trump/epstein.

Why do people always look to black people to speak out on every issue?

Nobody is calling bad bunny a hypocrite for doing the Super Bowl when ICE is gonna be there

I don’t think you understand why he’s not touring in the US

He’s not touring in the states because he knows many of his fans would be targeted by ICE based on their skin color and his shows would be targeted because of his fan base

That’s not the same thing at the Super Bowl. You’re not getting near that stadium that day if you don’t have any money. ICE isn’t going to get anywhere close to the Super Bowl because the people there are rich and ice isn’t disrupting their big day.

He’s not boycotting playing in the states as a principled stand to deprive the states of his work, but to protect his fan base, and the people in his fan base that are at risk aren’t anywhere near that game.

During Bad Bunny's performance at the Super Bowl, this face towel was distributed to the audience. On the back, it says “ICE OUT” and the QR code leads to a website with instructions on how to use it during the game. The action was meant for the crowd to raise the towel every time the referee signaled a yellow penalty, displaying the message “ICE OUT” as a form of protest.

The link also includes a donation campaign that raises funds for a project against ICE's actions.

Makes it even funnier that refs weren’t calling penalties

The artwork was created by cartoonist Lalo Alcaraz, creator of the comic strip “La Cucaracha,” which features satires on topics reflecting immigration policies between the USA and Mexico since 1992 in the newspaper LA Weekly.

The illustration on the towel distributed at the Super Bowl shows Bad Bunny holding a heart-shaped grenade in reference to Green Day’s album “American Idiot” and kicking a frozen soccer ball (ICE).

Why would they do that, what could make someone want to listen to it, and how would that meaningfully change anything about our situation for the better

I was thinking the whole game that this was an unusually low amount of flags/penalties game. On replays you could see clear holds and pushes in the back that weren't called, but refs do miss those from time to time is what I told myself as to why the game was relatively called clean. But that ice out towels thing makes a lot more sense

Many of us listen to meaningful music to get through these dark times . It inspires the youth . Bad bunny and Kendrick had the most watched super bowls of all time . Both in arguably boring super bowls where a team had clear lead

What do you think Kendrick or Bad Bunny could have done during their halftime show to inspire the youth about the Epstein case? I promise that’s a question meant in good faith despite how it reads

I just remembered that there was an incident where Diggs was on the sideline of the opposing team and there appeared to be a lot commotion I was shocked no flag was thrown, everything is starting to make sense
