I just saw that someone might be doing it in case Spotify shuts down or becomes unavailable. The cons still outweigh the pros though imo

its not for regular people... no one is downloading 300TB of music except quantitative researchers at FAANG companies and i can assure you they had access to this database before some autist decided to do their own work.

Spotify has a lot of dead tracks that get no plays. This is from the site in OP.
