I had never even heard of this movie before last week, but apparently it;s gaining some traction right now.

i don't know the full story behind it so this might be wrong, but from what I've heard: The director was given all the money he wanted, but then suffered from both the Disney/Fox merger and COVID-19, which led to the film not being finished in the way the director wanted.
Before this film, the director (David Prior) mainly directed BTS documentaries mainly for David Fincher's home releases.
Reviews are extremely mixed so it's not for everyone.
Here's a Stuckmann video talking about it

I just watched it without watching any trailers or reading a description beforehand and I really liked it. There was some scenes that were so dark that I couldn't see s*** but other than that it was pretty solid. Also there was some weird comedy moments that kinda fell into that "so bad it's good" kinda lane, but it weirdly works
This movie was horrible. I watched it 'cause I saw Stuckmann raving about it so I give it a chance and by the end I was convinced he was paid for that video. This movie is really in the same category as those trash Z level horrors like The Bye Bye Man, Slenderman, Truth or Dare etc

Its definitely not and the movie was getting praise long before Stuckmann. You probably thought that s***ty ass invisible Man movie was good though

makes sense why you wouldn't like a movie with actual atmosphere and ideas then. Enjoy your libtard woke agendas. Can't even call Invisible Man a movie.

Honestly my favorite American horror movie in years. Puts the whole A24 aesthetic to shame tbh

Something about it was really special. Like the atmosphere or something is unreal. Only thing I think could have been improved on was the ending but I still think the ending was great it just wasnt what I wanted. What I really wanted was him to kill that girl with the bowl cut lol she was so hatable

Lol.... you have no sense of good movies then
Disney absolutely dumped this movie so hard, threw it into cinemas at the height of the pandemic without a care in the world and didn't even give it a proper DVD release
