How do I make reverb spin.
I want this song to sound like everything is spinning in between the bass and lead vocals.
Like some sort of primordial soup spinning in circles.

Huuuuuuh I guess your reverb plug-in or module must have a Left/Right setting, you could automate this setting to make the reverb sound go left and right back and forth you know

Thanks! I have an idea, im going to create a band passed send, rotate it with some motion vst, then have a reverb after that. Might binaural pan it down or back as well.
Will see how it sounds, really want it to sound soupy.
If that breaks it too much I'll end up doing what you said

Tbh best way to find interesting sounds is to just go crazy with the effects and then streamline it the best way u can
Don't worry about it being OK from an engeeniring point of view, all that matters is if it sounds cool to you

I've found that as well, sometimes I have to make a mess and then clean it up when I'm done.
I call it the "sandbox" mix

I like playing around with effects tbh, I like making a traditional effect chain with the effects in the right order and then switch everything around and have a distortion after a reverb to make it sound extra crazy

I can get lost into flow state with that.
Eventually I do too much and start getting system overload warnings

Music too good for the system to handle
