  • Very interesting, I have it Grad > LR by a smidge.

    I feel like LR is his best rapping and him mastering his original sound. College Dropout I have third. Love all three.

    I am old enough to remember when Graduation dropped lol, lemme tell you kiddos…in real time, it was like a meteor that hit earth and changed what influences could be folded into the genre. The dinosaurs went extinct.

    I remember KRS One being appalled by it. lol. It was a huge paradigm shift both commercially and artistically.

    I remember mos def saying on drink champs that it was that generation’s thriller. I get what he means in terms of the magnitude, quality, and leap forward it represented.

    He wasnt lying then though. Compare any Kanye produced song on LR to Touch The Sky and the quality is night and day

    LR has the most skips out of the 3 but the songs that hit, HIT
